EAPA Greater New Orleans Chapter

Our Mission
The mission of the Employee Assistance Professional Association of Greater New Orleans (EAPA-NO) is to provide its members and their guests the opportunity to meet periodically to discuss matters of mutual professional interest, professional development, development of training programs, maintain EAPA program standards, provide community resources and open an avenue for the exchange of ideas.
Employee Assistance Professionals Association of Greater New Orleans (EAPA-GNO)
EAPA-GNO is a charter chapter of the national Employee Assistance Professionals Association (EAPA). EAPA is a non-provide organization located in Arlington, VA. Please contact National EAPA for more information on our national organization and for information on EAPA chapters in your location.
EAPA-GNO membership consists of local Employee Assistance Professionals who are members of National EAPA and have joined our local chapter. If you would like more information about our local chapter, or information on joining as a member, please contact National EAP, one of our chapter’s officers, Chairperson of the Membership Committee, or simply call (504) 574-4002 and someone will return your call.
The chapter meetings are attended by members and are open to other occupational health professionals and individuals interested in EAP services. Local meetings are attended by therapists and treatment providers, occupational health nurses, human resource personnel and others interested in EAP services. EAPA-GNO chapter meets on a regular basis throughout the year. The chapter meetings consist of a brief business meeting followed by a professional presentation. Professional Development Hours (PDH) and Continued Education Credits (CEU) are always available for Certified Employee Assistance Professionals (CEAP) and frequently are offered for other health care professionals. EAPA-GNO works diligently to promote quality professional and public education, professional networking, and legislation to ensure the highest standards for the delivery of EAP services. The membership is involved in several working committees. We welcome your involvement. Please contact one of our officers or committee chairs if you are interested in becoming actively involved with one of our committees.
