I am a health educator employed by the LA Department of Health and Hospitals. I formally worked in LSU HSC’s Employee Assistance Program as a graduate student. I was intersted in informing your members about a tobacco cessation training that is being offered by DHH and the Southwest Area Education Cener. These trainings will be offered in serveral areas of the state in February. I was interested in sharing a flyer with you to share wtih your members. I was wondering if you could provide me with a contact so that I can share this information with your organization.

I am a counselor (NCC, LPC, LAC, SAP) with a private psychotherapy practice here in New Orleans. I relocated to New Orleans from New York in May to start my practice full time and at that time I started contracting part time for an out-of-state EAP company (I currently provide them with emergency counseling for Army Corps of Engineers employees here in New Orleans). I am interested in increasing the number of hours in my practice that I devote to EAP work in order to move closer to meeting the CEAP certification requirements and I am hoping to speak to someone at EAPA GNO about recommendations for additional EAP companies known to be working with local companies here. Any information you are able to provide would be much appreciated.
